Reportedly, the device will work in tandem with 3D RealSense camera, which will track the movements of the hands, fingers and the analysis of facial expressions of the user. It is noteworthy that chipmaker no plans to make the headset under its own brand, and wants to enlist the help of other manufacturers. Also worth noting is the purchase by the Corporation at least five companies working on augmented reality technologies.
At the moment it is unknown how exactly the project works with Intel, but the situation should become clearer in August, when chipmaker will conduct an annual development forum.
